1. Agreement to Terms

By logging in to SasaBot ("the Service"), registering your Twitch channel, or enabling SasaBot inside your Twitch chat room, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms, do not access SasaBot's website, dashboard, or use its interactive chat features. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and Twitch broadcasters who interact with the Service.

2. Description of the Service

SasaBot is an automated chatbot and moderation companion designed to enhance Twitch streaming channels. Its core features include real-time custom chat command execution, alias routing, and automated Twitch API-driven clip creation. SasaBot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Twitch Interactive, Inc. or Amazon.com, Inc.

3. Twitch OAuth Authentication and Authorizations

To enable SasaBot to join your chat room, manage custom commands, and trigger clip creation on your behalf, you authorize SasaBot to connect to your Twitch account using official Twitch OAuth API protocols. SasaBot will only request the exact permissions required to perform its listed tasks. You are solely responsible for managing, securing, or revoking these authorizations through your Twitch account settings.

4. User Responsibility and Conduct

As a broadcaster or moderator utilizing SasaBot, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You are solely responsible for all content, responses, and URLs configured inside SasaBot's custom commands and command aliases. SasaBot is a neutral tool and does not pre-screen or moderate your custom text outputs.
  • You must not use SasaBot to publish, transmit, or promote illegal, offensive, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content, or content that violates intellectual property rights.
  • You must comply with all official Twitch Terms of Service, Twitch Community Guidelines, and local cyber laws.
  • We reserve the right, without prior notice, to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for any Twitch channel or user whose SasaBot configuration is found to be abusive, spammy, or in violation of these guidelines.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

SasaBot is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Service, its uptime, or reliability. SasaBot relies on external APIs, network latency, and third-party hosting, which may occasionally cause downtime, delayed chat responses, or failed clip creations. We do not warrant that SasaBot will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SasaBot, its creators, operators, or hosting providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, SasaBot. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, stream interruptions, data loss, Twitch channel suspension, bans, or account penalties incurred from Twitch or Amazon.

7. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make updates, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. Your continued use of SasaBot following any changes constitutes your absolute agreement to and acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.
