This Privacy Policy explains how SasaBot ("we", "our", or "the Service") collects, stores, uses, and protects your information when you log in to our web dashboard, register your Twitch channel, or interact with our chat bot services. We are committed to processing your data in a transparent, secure, and minimal manner, collecting only what is strictly necessary to run the Service.

2. Information We Collect

To provide automated Twitch chat command management and clip creation, SasaBot collects and stores the following information:

  • Twitch Account Information: Your Twitch User ID, username, display name, and profile image URL when you authenticate via Twitch OAuth.
  • Twitch OAuth Tokens: Securely stored OAuth Access Tokens and Refresh Tokens. These tokens are used solely to act on your behalf for bot connection and Twitch API actions (e.g., creating clips).
  • Channel Settings: Configuration details including whether SasaBot is enabled on your channel and your channel's broadcaster ID.
  • Custom Commands: Text content and settings for the custom chat commands and command aliases you configure through SasaBot's web dashboard or chat.
  • Activity Logs: A rolling log of SasaBot actions on your channel, including command edits, custom command executions, and clip creation successes or failures. This is stored to populate the live dashboard activity widget.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to operate SasaBot's core features:

  • To authenticate you and grant access to SasaBot's web control panel.
  • To connect SasaBot to your Twitch chat room using secure protocols and respond to chat commands.
  • To call the official Twitch Helix API to generate clips on command when users type !clip in your chat.
  • To manage, store, and execute your custom commands in real time.
  • To display recent activities and statistics on your personal dashboard.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Your data is stored securely on SasaBot's hosting infrastructure (using dedicated Railway persistent volumes). We employ industry-standard safety practices to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of your information:

  • All database connections and web traffic are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS).
  • Twitch OAuth tokens are processed securely and stored directly in the database.
  • We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any of your collected data with third-party advertisers, companies, or analytics networks.
  • Data is retained as long as SasaBot is registered to your channel. If you disable or delete your channel, your commands and active configuration files are permanently erased.

5. Your Rights and Deletion

You retain full ownership and control over your Twitch data. You have the right to request access to, edit, or delete any of SasaBot's stored records related to your channel:

  • You can view and modify all custom commands, aliases, and settings directly in SasaBot's dashboard.
  • To completely delete SasaBot's stored records for your channel, you can delete your channel registration via the dashboard or contact SasaBot's system administrator.
  • You can instantly revoke SasaBot's authorization and access tokens at any time through your official Twitch Connections Settings.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect technical adjustments or changes in our operational procedures. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes. Your continued use of the website or bot services following updates constitutes acceptance of the new policy terms.
